Guided Rides - Individual or Group Booking (1 to 2 people)
Beginner - This is for you if you or members of your group are new to Mountain Biking but have cycling experience. The route will be undulating on wider tracks with an introduction to short sections of easy / moderate single track that are equivalent to Blue / Green graded trail-centre trails.
Intermediate - This is for you if you and your group all have basic off-road experience, the route will be hilly with an introduction to more difficult sections of single track with steeper climbs / descents and small obstacles of roots and rocks that are equivalent to easier Red graded trail-centre trails.
Advanced - Aimed at experienced Mountain Bikers, the ride will be on steeper, rougher single track involving challenging climbs and descents with technical features such as step-ups, drop-offs, rocks and roots that are equivalent to those features that are found at harder Red or Black graded trail-center trails. There may be sections where you need to carry or push your bike.
You and each member of your group should be:
- In good health and fit enough for a full days off-road riding
- A proficient mountain biker with good off-road riding skills and fitness
- Aged 18 or over and riding a good quality full suspension mountain bike
Our price includes a guided ride group booking for 1 to 2 people, you can add additional people if required up to a maximum of 8 people per group.
Unless otherwise arranged we will meet at 10.00am outside Bothy Bikes, 5 Granish Way, Aviemore, PH22 1QU. There is free parking and a supermarket. There will be short snack stops mid-morning and mid-afternoon and a longer lunch stop around 1.00pm. We plan to return to our starting point by 4pm. There are toilets at our start / finish point. We will stop-off at a cafe/shop/toilets at our lunchtime stop.
Pre-payment will secure your booking. A full refund will be made if we receive notification of a cancellation within 14 days of your booked date.
